One of the first actions taken by Elon Musk after taking over Twitter was to withdraw the order of suspension of some user accounts with a high number of followers such as Donald Trump and Kanye West. But today Kanye West's account was suspended indefinitely by Twitter for sending threatening tweets.
Kanye sent a threatening tweet to KimDotCom and Elon Musk after he was reprimanded for making racist remarks on Alex Jones' podcast earlier this morning. West said he liked Adolf Hitler causing him to receive criticism from social media users. His account was suspended by Twitter a few months ago for issuing threats of violence against Jews.
Although Musk says Twitter will be a social media platform that provides freedom of speech, he recognizes that true freedom cannot be enforced for hateful content resulting in many advertisers refusing to stop using Twitter.
