The superpowers of the aerospace industry are the United States, Russia, Europe and China. All have sent astronauts and astronauts into space regularly and have space station programs orbiting the earth. Malaysia does not belong to this group but we have aspirations to be involved.
Before running we need to train first because the local space program is still in its infancy. Recently SpaceIn, a local aerospace company announced the success of their SpaceANT-D satellite passing vibration and environmental tests at the Assembly, Integrate & Testing (AIT) facility of the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA).
SpaceANT-D ((Space Advance Network Technology) is a locally made PocketQube satellite in collaboration with USM's School of Aerospace Engineering. It was tested from December 18-22. With it passing this test, SpaceANT-D is now ready for the next step which is flight module integration.
PockeQube is a 5×5×5 cm satellite that is smaller than CubeSat (10x10x10 cm) such as UiTMSAT-1 developed by UiTM in 2018.
