Baba Vanga, a Bulgarian clairvoyant whose predictions some believe are always accurate, made a number of frightening predictions in 2023 before her death.
Often referred to as the "Nostradamus of the Balkans" is famous because several of his predictions about the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, the death of Princess Diana, and the fall of the Soviet Union, supposedly came true.
Despite the fact that he died in 1996, his predictions continue to receive media attention, especially around the turn of the year and when major events occur.
Following are Baba Vanga's predictions for 2023, as quoted by the Greek Reporter.
Biological weapons test
According to Baba Vanga's prediction for 2023, it is suspected that a large country will conduct a biological weapon test that will result in the death of thousands of people.
However, it should be noted that the United Nations Convention on Biological Weapons prohibits this type of experiment from being carried out.
Earth's orbit changes
The Earth's orbit was said by Baba Vanga to change in 2023 somehow because of course this prediction is not scientific and there are no details.
The Earth goes around the Sun, but its orbit can shift slightly due to the gravitational pull of other planets. The shift in orbit, even though it seems slight, can have a big impact on our Earth, as it can cause soaring temperatures, rising sea levels and increasing radiation.
Nuclear disaster
That said, a global nuclear holocaust might contribute to the change in Earth's orbit. Baba Vanga, who once correctly predicted the Chernobyl disaster, also warned of the potential for a nuclear power plant explosion in 2023.
This frightening prediction comes as world leaders worry about a nuclear disaster in Ukraine. Last November, a powerful explosion rocked the area around Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The Head of the United Nations Atomic Energy Division said that the war between Russia and Ukraine disrupted the stability of world security.
Sun storm
According to Baba Vanga, in 2023, we will experience a solar storm with a destructive impact equivalent to billions of nuclear bombs.
Scientifically, the sun's activity is getting more intense, so it is predicted that solar storms will get more violent. The devastating solar storm that hit Earth on March 8, 1582 is expected to happen again in this century.
However, the Earth has a shield to protect it, namely the magnetosphere and ozone layer so that it does not directly harm living things on Earth.
As for the indirect impact on life, because solar storms can damage and even destroy satellites, and satellite-based services have become a necessity for modern humans, for example for communication. Solar storms can also cause power outages.
Laboratory baby
Baba Vanga predicted a boom in laboratory-modified babies. Advances in biotechnology allow parents the option to change their child's physical appearance, such as hair and eye color, before they are born.
Alien attack
Baba Vanga believed that there would be aliens spying on life on Earth. According to people who believe in this, it could be that aliens are monitoring Earth with asteroids. Aliens will use the asteroid to attack Earth. Can you believe it?
Of course this is just a prediction and only the result of interpretation. However, the prophecy from Baba Vanga can be a reminder for humans to protect the Earth from destruction. In addition, with the anticipation and development of science for good purposes, everything that was predicted could be broken.
