The Government through the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, has now instructed TNG on several matters, including regarding their latest VISA prepaid card.
Through the recommendations given, the government asked Touch n Go to change the brand of their Visa prepaid cards, in an effort to avoid confusion about the card's function.
TNG is also asked to explain to users regarding the use of the VISA card, which cannot be used for the purpose of paying tolls and public transport.
In addition, TNG was also asked to increase the number of TNG card sales and service centers, in addition to giving early notification to users before the card expires, in addition to removing unofficial TNG card sales advertisements from all online platforms.
TNG was given a follow-up action plan within a week from today.
