Instagram Notes Now Expanding To European, Japanese And UK Users

Instagram Notes is rolling out to users in Europe, Japan and the UK starting today. This was announced by the head of Instagram Adam Mosseri today. A feature announced in December last year that allows users to share in the form of text and emoji, up to 60 characters long.

Initially only users in Asia, Latin America and North America could access it. Through Instagram Notes, each share will be displayed at the top of the DM page, and it will be displayed for a period of 24 hours only.

Notes was launched when users were looking for an alternative to Twitter. But Notes does not have a long status sharing feature and is simply used to provide other users with personal status within Instagram.
