French Nostradamus, who was born in the 1500s, is perhaps one of the most popular fortune-tellers because it is said that a lot actually happened. Including the death of Queen Elizabeth II in 2022.
Queen Elizabeth's death prediction by Nostradamus is not clear, but is the interpretation of a Nostradamus observer named Mario Reading, who in 2005 published the book Nostradamus: The Complete Prophecies for the Future.
The book tries to interpret Nostradamus' poetry as a prediction of the future. One of Nostradamus' poems according to the book, as quoted by us from Fox News, translates that 'Queen Elizabeth II will die, at 22, at around 96 years old'.
Important in 2022
Because the prediction was considered correct, the book went viral. A week before the death of Queen Elizabeth II, sales of only 5 copies. But after the queen's death, around 8,000 copies sold out in England so it became a best seller.
There is another prediction in the book regarding the British Empire, namely regarding King Charles III who is predicted to abdicate. "That's because there is anger at him from some Britons over his divorce from Princess Diana," Reading wrote.
However, the unique thing is that it is predicted that Prince Harry will replace Charles, not Prince William, who is currently the crown prince. Moreover, Harry can be said to be no longer active in the British Empire.
Nostradamus is said to have predicted many things and some came true. Call it the French revolution, the landing of humans on the Moon, the bombing of Hiroshima to the world war. Also there are predictions about climate change, artificial intelligence technology, terrible wars and others.
But of course Nostradamus' predictions and their truth cannot be swallowed whole, especially from a scientific point of view. Moreover, the writings of Nostradamus do not clearly predict something, they must be interpreted.
"It's often that academics who study Nostradamus disagree about what he really wanted to say," says Live Science.
