Elon Musk Reportedly Tried To Take Over OpenAI In 2018, But Failed

Elon Musk was previously part of the initial team that formed OpenAI, but left the firm soon after.

Now, according to Semafor's report, Elon Musk in early 2018, is quite worried about OpenAI falling behind Google in the artificial intelligence arena, and wants to get the entire holding of OpenAI to lead it completely himself.

However, the matter has been rejected by the other founders of OpenAI, including Sam Altman, the current CEO for OpenAI.

That is said to have led Elon Musk to leave the firm in 2018, saying work at OpenAI would conflict with his duties at Tesla.

After Elon Musk left the firm, due to having to bear high bills in the development and processing of artificial intelligence and generation platforms such as Dall-E and GPT, OpenAI subsequently formed a profit-focused entity, and subsequently began to receive funding from Microsoft.

Now, both parties, OpenAI and Microsoft are seen moving fast in integrating and introducing various things related to artificial intelligence and image or text generation.

Elon Musk himself has previously also been seen starting to look for a number of researchers and developers in developing an alternative company to OpenAI himself.
