The Honor 70 was introduced around last August as a mid-range Android device complete with built-in 5G. In Malaysia it can be found at RM1999 with 8GB RAM memory and 256GB built-in storage.
The latest more affordable variant was introduced through the Honor 70 Lite. A 6.5-inch TFT LCD IPS LCD screen is used with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. This is also matched with a screen with a small notch for the placement of the 8MP selfie camera.
Next, the Snapdragon 480+ chip is used as the mainstay of the device with a matching 4GB RAM memory and built-in 128GB internal storage. A tri-camera system is also used on the device with a 50MP + 2MP + 2MP setup. The battery capacity is 5000mAh with 22.5W wired charging.
Other specifications include running MagicUI 6.1 based on Android 12, side fingerprint scanner, speaker with Hi-Res audio and 3.5mm audio jack. The device is available in Titanium Silver, Ocean Blue and Midnight Black color options with a selling price of £199.99 (~RM1096).
If you notice, the whole device is very similar to an Honor X8 5G. Both in terms of internal hardware and design. The only difference lies in the configuration of the main camera which is now larger, while the memory is smaller.
