The Huawei P60, P60 Pro, P60 Art and Mate X3 series were launched last week with a focus on XMAGE photography capabilities as well as satellite communication capabilities. Huawei has confirmed the global launch of their latest device on May 9 at an event held in Munich, Germany.
Globally, only the P60 Pro and Mate X3 will be launched in Europe. It is not yet known whether this will also happen in other markets such as Malaysia. The P60 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, a 48MP f/1.4~f/4.0 main camera with OIS, a 48MP f/2.1 telephoto with OIS, and a 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide angle. On the front, a 13MP f/2.4 camera is used. Up to 5X optical zoom is supported, 100X digital zoom and there is also an XMAGE camera system.
Meanwhile, the Mate X3 is equipped with a 6.4″ OLED LTPO screen on the outside and a 7.85″ OLED LTPO foldable screen on the inside. The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 4G chip is paired with a main camera that combines a 50MP OIS RYYB wide-angle lens, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle and a 12MP periscope telephoto with up to 5X optical zoom capabilities. Meanwhile outside and inside the 8MP sensor is used as a selfie camera placed in the hole in the screen.
