WhatsApp today allows you to send messages in the form of text, images, and even audio. Moving forward, now WhatsApp is seen to be developing a new feature that allows users to send messages in the form of videos.
With this feature, it works like sending an audio message, where the user will record the message in the form of a video and then send it to the recipient.
According to WABetaInfo, this feature also comes with comprehensive encryption support, making the video message invisible to anyone, including Meta or WhatsApp itself. In fact, video messages sent are also said not to be forwarded to other recipients due to privacy.
WhatsApp is expected to limit the sharing of these video messages to 60 seconds at the initial introduction stage later.
For now, it is not yet known when WhatsApp will officially introduce this feature to everyone.
