ASUS ROG Swift OLED PG49WDCD is a new 49-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor. The OLED screen used not only supports 10-bit color but also has a 144Hz refresh rate.
The maximum supported resolution is a resolution of 5120 x 1440 with a maximum brightness of 1000 nits that exceeds the VESA DisplayHDR 400 standard. According to ASUS, there is a heat chamber and a specially built Graphene layer behind the panel to ensure that this monitor is always cool without the need for a noisy fan.
As a gaming monitor, it also supports Adaptive Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro to avoid the issue of torn graphics during video game sessions. Meanwhile, the response time is as low as 0.03 ms.
Also included are DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.1 and USB Type-C ports that can recharge connected devices up to 90W via USB Power Delivery. No sale price has been disclosed at the time of writing this article.
