EV Charge Go Offers Mobile EV Charging Services

Concerns about no charging facilities are top among electric vehicle (EV) users. The EV's maximum travel distance is still low not helped by the lack of chargers on the highway. Gentari solves this issue with its EV Charge Go service that brings the charger to the user's vehicle.

EV Charge Go puts an EV charger inside a Proton Exora van. It can offer charging at 30Kwh and 60Kwh power. This service is just a pilot project for three months to see the demand among local EV users.

It is seen as a way to offer electric chargers when doing vehicle exhibition activities and also test sessions on the circuit for EV vehicles. In both situations the absence of a physical charger was the initial issue raised by the organizers. Therefore EV Charge Go is only offered to companies that want to test it and no longer to individual vehicle owners at this time.

This service by Gentari is similar to PETRONAS ROVR mobile gas station service in 2019 which is placed on the back of a truck. The similarity of ideas is not surprising because Gentari is a subsidiary of PETRONAS.
