Luno today announced the addition of a new cryptocurrency to their platform, Avalanche, also known as AVAX. Starting 5pm, May 17, local users can buy, sell and store AVAX cryptocurrency through the Luno app.
Avalancehe also comes with decentralized blockchain support, and uses a "proof-of-stake" mechanism, and is said to use a smart contract design that is faster and cheaper than Ethereum.
With the addition of AVAX, Luno now offers 10 cryptocurrencies in Malaysia.
