After being held all day since Saturday, the PayHack 2023 event finally drew the curtain with the list of winners announced today. This event was jointly organized by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), Microsoft, MDEC, My Startup and Cradle.
Through it the Make1tFeature group was crowned as the main prize winner and took home RM20,000 in cash. The group took home the main award after successfully attracting the attention of the judges through a project named EveryPay.
The second place was won by the Say group and received cash amounting to RM15,000 through the presentation of the Shop 'n Go project. Meanwhile, third place was won by Holy Pandas who received RM5,000 in cash with a project known as FixerPay. In addition to cash, all the winners listed earlier also brought home trophies and participation certificates.
Meanwhile, seven other participants each brought home a consolation prize amounting to RM1,000 along with a participation certificate. All of these winners consist of CodeLine(5) (MuleZero), JTE (WasteNoMoney), Backend Cluster (Swift Pay Plus), Revenue Monster (I Can Pay), y2k (My-Saku), Freceipts (Guardian Angel) and Lemonade ( GiveNow).
The PayHack 2023 event is open to any individual, whether studying, working or others who have expertise in a particular field. A total of four challenges are provided which require each group to choose either one or more depending on the type of project being made.
We also understand that this PayHack 2023 event is the first time that PayNet has held it with the aim of attracting people to get to know their role more closely. More than 200 participants with 50 participation groups were accepted to win the prizes and awards on offer.
