Many must long to watch giant-sized televisions at home as if in a movie theater. In fact, this is not impossible anymore with Samsung The Wall which is offered up to 146-inch 4K.
The latest BOE is seen trying to compete with Samsung The Wall through a prototype LCD screen panel with a size of 110″ and supporting 16K resolution. For now BOE does not share whether this 110″ screen technology will be used on television or for advertising purposes.
This prototype unit also supports a 60Hz refresh rate and has a brightness level of only 400 nits. To display content as many as 16 DisplayPort inputs are required.
BOE's giant screen panel is also seen as possibly not modular like The Wall. So if one day it is made into a commercial product so that it would be difficult for someone to buy it unless maybe the television was delivered while the house was still under construction. what do you say
