Intel Core i5-14600K CPU Shows 5.3GHz Overclock Speed

Lately, there have been many new details about Intel's 14th generation processor chip that have been leaked, including the model name and also the specifications. Recently, details about a mid-range processing chip, the Intel Core i5-14600K have been leaked, which will be introduced under the 14th generation Intel CPU series Raptor Lake Refresh.

Some reports have shown that this Intel Core i5-14600K chip comes with the same number of cores and power threads, namely 14 cores consisting of six performance cores and six efficient cores with 20 power threads.

What is interesting here is that this processing chip is seen with a boost clock speed as high as 5.3GHz, which is 200MHz higher than the previous processing chip, Intel Core i7-13600K. It is still built using Intel's 10nm process, but is also expected to come with higher IPC (instructions per clock) performance.

Apart from this, this processing chip is also seen to have a base power consumption of 125W, the same as the previous processing chip. Maximum Turbo Power value, or maximum power consumption. For reference, the MTP value of the Intel Core i7-13600K is around 181W.

As said before, the Intel Raptor Lake Refresh series of processing chips is expected to be introduced in October, shortly after Intel showed the Meteor Lake series of processing chips at the Intel Innovation 2023 event.
