ASUS GeForce RTX 4070 BTF Graphics Card With Wireless Power Plug GC_HPWR Shown

One of the most interesting products on display at the COMPUTEX Taipei event was ASUS' concept graphics card that comes with a new power plug system that connects directly to the motherboard. This allows desktop computer developers to build a computer that does not have tangled cables.

Recently, ASUS has finally developed a graphics card with the power plug, which now has the name GC_HPWR, where a new tab is shown on the PCIe connection that can be connected to a motherboard that supports it.

This graphics card, which is part of the ASUS BTF (Back To The Future) component series, and apparently the first card to be sold with this connection is based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, with options for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 and RTX 4060Ti graphics cards also shown for future launches.

The use of this graphics card will also require a motherboard that supports this wireless power connection. With that, ASUS also showed the TX Gaming B760-BTF WiFi motherboard that comes with this GC_HPWR connection, which at this time, ASUS has confirmed will only be launched for the Chinese market first.
