The two Meta Horizon Worlds universes are now accessible on web browsers as well as smart devices through a closed testing program. Previously, Meta Horizon Worlds could only be accessed using the Meta Quest headset which caused the number of users to be limited. The development of the web version was announced last year and is finally ready for use.
For Android users it can be accessed using the Meta Quest app today. The app for iOS will be launched in just a few days. To access the web version, please go to the horizon.meta.com link. Although Meta is now opening up access to more devices besides Meta Quest headsets, Meta does not yet allow access through headsets from other manufacturers.
At the same time users from Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, UK and USA aged 13 and above can only use Meta Horizon Worlds at this time. For users in Malaysia, you can register an account first and create a 3D avatar only.
