Google is now seen to have updated the support of bank cards that can be used together with Google Wallet, and the latest bank to be added is Standard Chartered Bank.
For this Standard Chartered Bank, Google Wallet has only added support for credit cards, and has not yet added support for debit cards.
With this introduction, users can now use cards issued by CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC, Public Bank, and also prepaid cards issued by Visa.
Google Wallet is Google's digital wallet support for Android devices – allowing users to add it and make NFC payments by touching the phone to the payment terminal.
In addition to bank cards, users can also add reward cards to Google Wallet.
