Microsoft Paint Can Now Generate Images With DALL-E 3 Powered “Cocreators”.

Microsoft is ready to integrate generative AI features on their digital products such as using the GPT model by OpenAI on Office 365 software, offering CoPilot on Windows 11 and Windows 10 or even the Bing Image Creator image generation feature that uses AI DALL-E 3.

Most recently, the Microsoft Paint application has been updated with Cocreator's generative AI feature using DALL-E 3 technology. This button will be next to the "Color" tab and when pressed there will be space to fill in the prom and choose the image style that you want to generate such as Ink Sketch, Pixel Art, Oil Painting and more.

After typing the prom and selecting the style, the user can directly press the "create" button and three variants will be provided. Each user is given 50 credits with each generation using 1 credit. Microsoft has not disclosed yet how to receive additional credits at this time.

This feature in the trial runs very smoothly, manages to generate images quickly and also supports Bahasa Malay prom. The downside in my opinion is that it can't generate based on the image I sketch because I have to use proms like Bing Image Creator, DALL-E or Midjourney. The Cocreator feature on Microsoft Paint is currently limited to users in the United States, Arab, France, UK, Australia, Canada, Italy and Germany.
