The Government through the Ministry of Finance has today started implementing the eMADANI initiative, through which users will receive RM100 credit through a digital wallet. Under this initiative, the government aims for around 10 million Malaysians to receive a RM100 credit.
Sharing about the application for the program since it started this morning, the Ministry of Finance stated that a total of more than 7 million eMADANI applications had been made as of 5pm today.
Users have applied through MAE, Setel, ShopeePay and even Touch n Go eWallet. It is not known what digital wallet is the choice of many local users to redeem this credit.
By sharing these figures, it is seen that there are still around 3 million users who can apply for this eMADANI credit.
For information, this program is open to those who are 21 years old and above, and whose income is below RM100,000 per year. You can do this eMADANI application until February 20, 2024.
