Threads Will Launch In Europe This Month. No Need to Have a Profile

 

Threads will finally launch in Europe this month according to a Wall Street Journal report. This X-like messaging application was launched in other markets last July but not in Europe because there are many laws regarding users' personal data that need to be complied with. For example Instagram user data cannot be simply transferred to Threads according to EU law.

To meet European requirements, Threads can be accessed without registering any account. But without account Threads are read only without user can upload personal status. Europe is a big market and if Threads launches the number of monthly active users can be increased by Meta.

So far Threads is said to have 100 million monthly active users. Various features such as accessed through the web, hashtag search, editing status posts and doing keyword searches have been introduced over the past few months.
