Google is seen providing a number of new features to Meet in line with its status as a popular online teleconferencing platform. It also means that users can enjoy more interesting benefits when making video and audio calls.
First of all is the ability to combine various effects on the video which means that users are free to combine backgrounds with suitable filter effects for a more enjoyable experience. This introduction can be considered interesting and convenient especially when used for online interview sessions.
At the same time, the main interface has also been updated to be more accessible to users with each background effect and filter grouped locally by category.
Next, the Studio Lighting and Studio Sound features help improve video quality, while solving issues caused by low lighting or poor audio quality. This includes the ability to adjust lighting levels, brightness and color to look the best. Studio Sound meanwhile uses AI to recreate higher quality audio frequencies so they can be heard better.
All the features have started rolling out to users in stages. However it should be noted that the Studio Lighting and Studio Sound features are available with the Duet AI add-on for Google Workspace Enterprise.
