Smart TVs like smartphones need to be updated to ensure they don't have security vulnerabilities and always receive the latest features. Starting next year, LG promises that their WebOS smart TVs will be supported by updates for five years.
The Re:New LG is program will be given to models such as the LG QNED Mini LED 8K from 2022 (QNED99 series and QNED95 series) before being expanded to other QNED TV models globally in stages. QNED 2024 TV models will also automatically receive the same long-term support.
