ChatGPT Now Has Memory of Previous Conversations

OpenAI announced a new feature that will make chatting with ChatGPT less of a pain in the ass. ChatGPT now has the ability to remember all the conversations that users have with it. With this, previous conversations can be continued with ChatGPT having a memory of the questions asked and the answers given.

By default this memory feature is automatically enabled for all. But users are given the power to have conversations that are not remembered by ChatGPT through the "Temporary chat" feature. Users can also delete the saved memory manually through the settings screen. It can also be used on other GPTs offered through the GPT Store, each of which has its own unmixed memory.

On paper this memory feature will make conversations with ChatGPT more natural and human-like because it doesn't have to be done over and over again. This feature has been given to a small number of ChatGPT free and ChatGPT Plus users for initial testing.
