Figure is one of the companies that focuses on the development of robots with human-like designs. The Figure 01 robot is already getting a lot of attention, and BMW even stated that it will start using the Figure 01 robot as an employee to handle a number of tasks and basic work.
Most recently, it was reported that Figure AI is in the process of raising funds, and Microsoft and OpenAI are expected to lead the investment. Microsoft is expected to invest $95 million, followed by OpenAI with $5 million – valuing Figure's company at around $1.9 billion.
For now, Microsoft and OpenAI have not issued any official comments regarding this matter.
