Acer Launches New Nitro 14 And Nitro 16 With AMD Ryzen 8040 Series Processors




Acer has announced the new Nitro 14 and Nitro 16 gaming laptops powered by AMD Ryzen 8040 series processors. Then it is also combined with GPUs up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with DLSS 3.5 technology. In addition to being supported by NVIDIA's RTX AI platform for AI-enhanced gaming and application capabilities.



Specifically, the Nitro 14 (AN14-41) comes with a choice of 14.5-inch WQXGA or WUXGA display with a 120Hz refresh rate. CPU options up to AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS and GPU up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 are used for the mainstay. In addition to also loading memory up to 32 GB LPDDR5X and 1 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage as a complement. It also offers a 76Wh battery along with important connectivity options that include USB 4 and USB 3.2 Type C ports, dual Type A ports (one with offline charging), HDMI 2.1 and a microSD card reader.



The new Nitro 16 offers a choice of 16-inch WQXGA or WUXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate. Then combined with CPU up to AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS and GPU NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. Memory combination up to 32 GB DDR5 (SDRAM) and 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe storage also complement this laptop. The battery is also 76Wh which is followed by Wi-Fi 6E, dual USB Type C, three USB Type A ports, HDMI 2.1 and microSD card slot for connection options.



There are also a number of functions that integrate built-in AI such as Acer PurifiedView on the web camera, and Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 with three microphones along with noise reduction technology. The overall performance of the laptop can also be monitored via the NitroSense App with a dedicated button.


The sales price starts at USD 1,299.99 (~RM6,197) for the Nitro 14 and starts at USD 1,399.99 (~RM6,673) for the Nitro 16.
