Hisense is an increasingly popular electronics manufacturer. Their popular products are smart televisions which they will recently bring in televisions with MiniLED ULED X screens. The uniqueness of Hisense televisions is that they use their own VIDAA OS operating system.
During the new television announcement event for the ASEAN market in Bangkok, Hisense has announced the all-new VIDAA OS. VIDAA now allows users to control televisions and applications using smartphones. Not only that, VIDAA can also download, open or switch to other applications very quickly compared to competing televisions.
The example shown is a heavy application download in their store takes around 7 seconds. Turn on the television until the main screen appears and is ready to be controlled is about 3 seconds. Finally, switching from one application to another takes as fast as 2 seconds. According to Hisense representatives, VIDAA OS follows LG's strategy which is a web-based lightweight operating system. It lasts longer, is safer and is guaranteed to have no lag issues.
