Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024 has now been launched in China, as the lightest powerful laptop ever released by Huawei. It only weighs 980 grams but is offered with up to a powerful Intel Core Ultra 9 chip. This makes it 30% lighter than the X Pro 2023.
Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024 is also equipped with a 14.2″ OLED 120Hz screen with a resolution of 3,120 x 2,080 pixels, with 10-finger touch support. MateBook X Pro 2024 is also offered with an Intel Core Ultra 7 chip option that is matched with up to 32GB memory, up to 2TB SSD storage and a 70Wh battery that supports 140W charging.
I/O options are 2x Thunderbolt 4, and 1X more USB-C for charging. The keyboard comes with a built-in lighting system, also a fingerprint scanner on the power button. The FHD camera comes with four microphones for clear audio recording. As for the speaker system, it supports 3D audio through the Huawei Sound system with six speakers.
The laptop can run the built-in Pangu AI model, and it can generate real-time subtitles and generate notes by listening to voice commands. The sale price of Huawei MateBook X Pro 2024 starts from RMB 11,998 (~RM 7906) one. For now, it is not yet known when it will be offered for the global market.
