Motorola Moto Edge 50 Ultra With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and Wooden Body Launched

The building material of the device that is hot right now is titanium. A few years ago, glass panels, vegan leather and ceramics were also introduced to provide uniqueness in the market. Yesterday Motorola Moto Edge 50 Ultra was announced with a back panel made of wood.

The device features a 6.7″ P-OLED 2K screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, up to 16GB of memory, up to 1TB of storage and a 4500 mAh battery with 125W charging support.

The main camera consists of a 50MO OIS wide-angle lens, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 64MP periscope zoom lens. The selfie camera is 50MP. The device has IP68 waterproof capabilities and comes with stereo speakers. A fingerprint scanner is included built-in under the screen. The operating system used is Android 14.

The use of a wooden panel is similar to the Moto Z series a few years ago with a removable panel with other accessories such as a camera, speaker and 5G module. In addition to the wooden panel, the Edge 50 Ultra is also offered with a vegan leather option.
