The PADU (Main Database) has now announced that 10.61 million Malaysians have now updated the database. This at the same time shows that more than 1/3 have updated the database as of March 30, 2024.
According to the initial plan, the public is given time until March 31, 2024 to update the PADU system - where the relevant data will be gathered and help the government in making various plans and decisions.
It is not yet known what will happen after this date of March 31, 2024, whether it will continue to be open for registration or otherwise. People are seen to be quite active in registering in the last two weeks.
