One year after the announcement of the BMW CE 04 electric scooter at the Malaysia Autoshow 2023, today at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 BMW Motorrad Malaysia announced their electric scooter, the BMW CE 02, will be sold in the local market at a price of RM 40,000
The BMW CE 02 comes to the Malaysian market in the Highline version, where the stylish cushion finish, 1.5kW fast charging, comes with a smart device holder, golden front fork, has three riding modes which are Flash which is faster than the other two modes which are Surf for riding normal, and Flow for relaxed riding, as well as handles equipped with hand warmers.
In terms of specifications, the BMW CE 02 has an engine that provides a maximum power of 15hp and can accelerate from 0-50km/h in 3 seconds. It has 2 batteries with a capacity of 1.96kW which gives a travel distance of 95km on the WMTC count, and can be charged from 20% to 80% in around 168 minutes.
This electric motorcycle will be sold at a price of RM 40,000 and only requires a B2 license to be legally ridden on the road. You can go to a nearby BMW Motorrad branch to try it out.
