Google Pixel 8a was launched yesterday without any special event. It is a more affordable alternative. belongs to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro but still uses the same Google Tensor G3 chip. The device is equipped with a 6.1″ OLED FHD 120Hz screen with slightly thicker bezels than the previous two models.
In addition, it is equipped with a memory of 8GB RAM, storage up to 256GB and a 4492 mAh battery that supports PD 3.0 charging as well as wireless charging. The main camera consists of a 64MP wide-angle lens with OIS and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens. On the front, a 13 MP sensor is used for the selfie camera.
The device has a rounded body when compared to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. There is a fingerprint scanner under the screen and also IP67 waterproof capability. In addition, it is also equipped with stereo speakers.
In the United States Google Pixel 8a is sold at a price of $499 (~RM2369) for the 128GB model and $559 (~RM2653) for the 256GB model in Bay, Aloe, Porcelain, and Obsidian color options.
