Google Wallet Adds Support For Muamalat Bank Credit Card Users

Google Wallet is a digital wallet service that links directly to Android smartphones, and users can pay in stores by touching the payment terminal – powered by NFC support on the phone. After adding several local banks to Google Wallet, most recently, Bank Muamalat was also seen adding support for Google Wallet.

Bank Muamalat has introduced support for Google Wallet around March 2024. Cards currently supported by Bank Muamalat on Google Wallet are BMMB Visa Platinum-i, BMBB Visa Infinite-i, Pos Malaysia Visa Platinum-i, and also Pos Malaysia Visa Infinite-i.

Users need to have a device running Android 5.0 and up, in addition to supporting NFC before being able to use this Google Wallet. Some merchants also use Google Pay branding to support this payment.

For those of you who use Visa Bank Muamalat credit cards, you can try this Google Wallet on your respective Android device. Besides Muamalat Bank, other banks that are also supported on Google Wallet are CIMB Bank, Hong Leong Bank, HSBC Bank, Public Bank, Standard Chartered and Wise.
