Lenovo Legion 7000K Now Official – Laptop CPU Powered Gaming Desktop

Earlier this month, we have reported that Lenovo will show the Lenovo Legion 7000K, which is a gaming desktop computer powered by Intel CPU components that are usually used by laptops.

Lenovo has now made an official announcement about the computer, which is now called a Mobile on Desktop (MoDT) computer, and now the full specifications of the computer have been shown.

It is powered by a choice of Intel Core i9-14900HX processing chips with 18 cores or Intel Core i7-14650HX with 16 cores. In terms of memory and storage offerings, it is seen that the Legion 7000K will come with a 32GB option on almost all models along with 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

In terms of graphics card options, Lenovo chose to load this computer with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics cards.

The offering of laptop processing chips on this desktop is also quite interesting. First, Intel's processing chips are soldered to the motherboard, which means that the CPU components cannot be upgraded. Second is that this CPU component does not have a heat spreader cover, and this will allow the CPU to transfer heat to the cooling component more efficiently.

For now, the Lenovo Legion 7000K is only offered for the Chinese market, and has already started selling recently..
