Qualcomm Snapdragon X Confirmed Exclusive Chip Powering Copilot+ PC Devices

At the Microsoft Build event that took place yesterday, the technology company also introduced a new category of AI laptops called Copilot+ PC for laptops with Windows 11 operating systems powered by ARM processing chips, specifically the Qualcomm Snapdragon X series.

Now, Qualcomm has confirmed that all of its Copilot+ PC-branded laptops and tablets will be powered by the series of processing chips. In fact this is not a big surprise, as all the device announcements made by companies like Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and so on are all powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus options.

The advantage of this processing chip in offering processing power on par with other companies' products and also offering lower power consumption is one of the advantages demonstrated by Qualcomm. A more mature ARM version of the Windows 11 operating system is also seen to make it easier for laptop makers to choose this processing chip for future products.
