Ticketmaster – Live Nation Hacked Leads to Sale of 560 Million Users' Data



Have you ever bought tickets through Live Nation? If yes, this morning's news should get your attention because the Ticketmaster site - Live Nation has been the victim of a cyber attack that resulted in over 560 million users being sold on the dark web.



According to the hackers, the 560 million user data that was hacked contained full name information, home address, email address, phone number, ticket purchase history, and the last four numbers of the card used in the transaction. The file size used was around 1.3 TB and sold for $500,000.


Ticketmaster - Live Nation has not commented on customer data from which countries were affected by this cyber attack. Live Nation operates in 32 countries around the world including Malaysia and is the parent company of Ticketmaster.
