Vivo looks set to offer its foldable device officially outside the Chinese market this year. It starts in India with the introduction of the Vivo X Fold3 Pro AI which is scheduled to take place on June 6, 2024. The official advertisement site also started publishing along with some important details.
For example, the device comes in a body that is as thin as 11.2mm and weighs about 236 grams. A ZEISS camera is also used which should potentially provide a better photography experience. Followed by support for generative AI features that use the Google Gemini model for Galaxy AI-like features on Samsung devices.
It includes AI Note Assist which can perform summaries for long notes, and convert notes to a format that uses AI assistance. Next, AI Transcript Assist which can produce audio transcription automatically and AI Screen Translation to perform real-time text translation. The device is also believed to be equipped with other powerful internal hardware such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 5,700mAh carbon-silicon battery and a 120Hz AMOLED display.
