Assassin's Creed Mirage, Death Stranding and Resident Evil 4 iOS Version Not Working

Among the advantages of the Apple A17 Pro chip used on the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max is the ability to run the first version with console-level graphics on a smartphone. Assassin's Creed Mirage, Death Stranding and Resident Evil 4 were the three games that were featured and widely advertised when the iPhone 15 series was launched in September last year.

Now according to the analysis done by Mobilegamer.biz, these three first ones are not well received by users. Based on estimated data from Appfigures, Assassin's Creed Mirage was downloaded 123,000 times but only earned $138,000. This is because the first can be downloaded for free to try and then purchased for $49.99 to unlock other missions. Therefore this means that the Mirage only sold 3000 units.

Meanwhile, it is estimated that 7000 units of Resident Evil 4 and 10,600 units of Death Stranding alone were successfully sold on iOS. A very low number for all three games that recorded sales of millions of units on consoles and PC. Ubisoft, Capcom and Kojima Production have never officially shared the official sales figures of all their first releases.

This is probably because all three games are designed for consoles and from our own experience playing them on the iPhone 15 Pro Max screen is too small. The graphics pan is also not comparable to what can be enjoyed on the 11-year-old PlayStation 4. So far the most popular games on smartphones are those developed natively for mobile devices such as COD Mobile, Mobile Legends and PUBG Mobile.
