Honor Launches Magic V Flip Phone In China – With 4-inch Outdoor Screen



Honor today launched the Magic V Flip which is their first flip phone. It sets new standards in creating attractive finishes. Especially for the external screen with a high ratio reaching 85% while allowing users to do more basic things through it without the need to open the main screen.




Sharing deeper, these phones use a 4-inch external screen of the 120Hz LTPO OLED type and a resolution of 1200×1092 pixels. The display is also well designed to run a variety of basic applications such as maps, food delivery services and social media including video based content. When opened, it offers a 6.8-inch LTPO OLED 120Hz main screen with a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels. The display also has PWM Dimming technology as high as PWM 3840Hz for the inner screen, and PWM Dimming 2160Hz on the outer screen to protect the eyes. Both screens also pass Dolby Vision standards.




Honor Magic V Flip is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with memory matching up to 16GB RAM and internal storage up to 1TB. Powering it is the latest MagicOS 8.0 software based on Android 14. The main dual-camera is used consisting of 50MP (OIS) and 12MP ultra wide – with recording capabilities reaching 4K. The front camera uses a 50MP sensor that uses Sony IMX816, along with the ability to record 4K video.



Other specifications that the device has is a 4800mAh battery with 66W fast charging, besides also having a side fingerprint scanner, NFC, Bluetooth 5.3, 5G network and stereo speakers. Magic V Flip is sold in China with the following sales price:
