ASUS has recently launched two routers with built-in VPN, the RT-AX57 Go for regular use and the ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro specifically for gaming users. Interestingly, the virtual private network service used is by NordVPN.

As the name suggests, Go means it is a mobile device. RT-AX57 Go is a 4G/5G modem that supports tri-connection either sim card, WiFi hotspot, or even as a home router. ASUS guarantees the WiFi 6 connection on this product can reach up to 3000 Mbps and supports connection to 70 devices simultaneously.

This modem also has Trend Micro's AiProtection security protection. AiMesh features are also supported, the physical buttons on the device can be modified, the device can be used for small businesses with special pages for customers. The ASUS RT-AX57 Go can also be controlled with the ASUS Router app. Then if users are not interested in NordVPN, ASUS also allows connection to other services such as Surfshark.

It supports speeds up to 11000 Mbps with WiFi 6, ASUS RangeBoost Plus is supported for good long-distance connections and there are flexible ports such as both 2.5G and 10G can be used as WAN or LAN.

Rapture GT-AX11000 Pro is also generated with a special quad-core chip and ASUS also integrates a smart system that can ensure that every time the user is actively playing, the Internet connection will continue to be optimized for faster and more stable. Other features such as AiMesh, AiProtection and VPN are also retained. Like the RT-AX57 Go, the GT-AX11000 Pro can also use other VPN services besides NordVPN.

NordVPN also intends to expand their virtual private connection offering that is secure and ensures users' privacy and secure Internet connection, they want to expand this support to more other ASUS routers and modems. Users can also set up NordVPN on a special page through ASUS modems and routers provided they already have an active subscriber.
