Both Apple and Google every time they launch a new flagship device there will be a promotion to invite users to switch platforms to each other. Google has been using the Switch to Android application which will soon receive a new name, Android Switch, along with better data transfer features.
Android Switch is an app for iOS for iPhone users preparing to move to an Android device. The upcoming update is developed to support iOS 18. What's interesting in the upcoming new version is that iPhone users with iOS 18 can also transfer their locked or hidden apps directly to the new Android device.
At the moment it is still uncertain when Switch to Android will become Android Switch. It is expected when Android 15 is stable later because, like iOS 18 – Android 15 will support the app hiding feature natively.
