HarmonyOS Next Can Run Android Applications With GMS Via Special Platform

HarmonyOS Next is a sarwajagat operating system used on all products under the Huawei ecosystem. Following the use of Ark Engine, HarmonyOS is also a completely self-made operating system without using the Android kernel. Most recently, a beta user found that HarmonyOS Next had no problems running Android applications.

Not only that, it can also run the Google Play Services system even though Google features on smartphones are prohibited in China. To run Android applications, Huawei AppGallery offers the EasyAbroad browser application complete with widget support for easy access.

This actor then runs Android applications in a separate interface and Huawei users need to access all applications from within EasyAbroad. It also comes complete with the MicroG system, which allows Google services to be accessed without an account and without a VPN. EasyAbroad is seen as an alternative to GBox or Google Box which was previously promoted by Huawei.

If you have an imported Huawei Mate 70 set that is ready to run HarmonyOS Next, it is recommended not to log in to your personal Google account on any platform, be it EasyAbroad, GBox or Lighthouse. This is to prevent any security vulnerabilities from occurring that could put your account at risk.
