Thailand is one of the countries in Southeast Asia that is rich in culture, history and natural beauty. All foreign tourists who want to enter and exit the country including land and sea routes will be required to fill out a digital arrival card or TM6 starting May 1, 2025.
It will replace the existing paper-based TM.6 Form for screening purposes and to improve tracking of foreign tourists while in Thailand. It is also mandatory for all foreign tourists including those from visa-exempt countries. There is no fee for the digital form.
Thai passport holders are however exempted from this requirement but they will have to provide personal and travel details including passport information and Thai address. The transition is also aimed at increasing tourist security and confidence, while also facilitating a faster entry process into the country.
