ASUS has confirmed the arrival of its latest device, the ROG Phone 9 FE, in Malaysia on March 19, 2025. The announcement was made via their Facebook page yesterday.
It is expected to be a more affordable gaming device in the ROG Phone 9 series. The same situation can also be seen during the launch of the ROG Phone FE in Thailand recently. This makes it an attractive option for those looking for a powerful device at a more affordable price.
For specifications, the ROG Phone 9 FE is equipped with a 6.78-inch AMOLED FHD+ screen with a 185Hz refresh rate using the Game Genie setting. It is also powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip with 16GB LPPDR5X RAM, 256GB UFS 4.0 internal storage and a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 65W charging.
The main camera consists of a 50MP wide-angle lens with a gimbal, a 13MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro lens. On the front, a 13MP selfie camera is used. The AirTrigger shoulder button gaming feature and AniMe Mini-LED screen are retained on the rear panel. The entire device also passes IP68 waterproof and dustproof standards.
