The Garmin Approach S50 is now available in Malaysia and is priced at RM1,999. It is launched as a new addition to the Garmin golf watch lineup. Among the highlights are the latest fitness monitoring functions with built-in GPS. In addition to offering smart connectivity with other Garmin golf accessories for a better user experience.
The Approach S50 comes with a 1.2″ (30.4 mm) AMOLED screen with Always-on-Display capabilities. This is matched with a lighter body with two physical buttons on the side. Various health and fitness sensors are also provided for daily monitoring purposes. In addition, there is also a PlaysLike Distance function that can provide recommendations for more accurate shot distances by taking into account several factors such as terrain conditions, weather and others.
The battery used can last up to 10 days with smartwatch mode, and 15 hours when GPS mode is used frequently. Other functions that complement this watch are a 5ATM waterproof rating which means it can be taken swimming, along with Garmin Pay which allows users to make payments wirelessly.
