TECNO's launch event for MWC Barcelona 2025 is currently underway. Many devices will be launched, but TECNO did not forget to announce that they are now starting to use their own imaging processing chip to process their new AI features.
TECNO PolarAce 2.0 is this chip. It has a fairly high power of 5.5TFLOPS@FP16, has a frame stabilization rate of up to 99.99%, is equipped with the NeuroNR Turbo feature and has 20% more computing power than other undisclosed chips.
This chip is also responsible for operating the 2MP SpectralVision sensor to produce the most accurate colors. Not only that, their Universal Tone technology, an algorithm to ensure that human skin color processing is fair, is also enabled with the help of this chip.
TECNO shared that their devices starting this year will include the PolarAce 2.0 chip to ensure that users will receive the best camera experience for a mid-range device.
