Previously, you had to do a full plan to stay connected while on vacation abroad, including booking a SIM card and receiving it to use on your smartphone. This can be difficult, and users can do it easier by subscribing to a roaming plan on their existing line.
Now, if you want an alternative, Touch n Go eWallet through their application has added a new feature called “Travel eSIM”. Through it, you can purchase an eSIM, and then also subscribe to a data plan along with it.
Users only need to select the country you want to go to, and then select a data plan. Then the eSIM code will be sent to your email, allowing you to install the eSIM directly on your respective device. However, as usual, you need to make sure your existing phone supports eSIM.
