Google Targets Gemini Integration as a Built-in Option on iPhones as Early as This Year

Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared in court today that they are in discussions with Apple, and aim to add Gemini support built into the iPhone as early as this year.

As many are aware, Apple has previously introduced an artificial intelligence support integration called Apple Intelligence. During its introduction last year, Apple also added ChatGPT integration support to iOS and macOS via Siri as well as several other functions, making it easier for users to access the artificial intelligence support.

During its own introduction, Apple was quoted as saying that it was open to adding other parties' offerings, and was willing to talk to Google.

For your information, Google and Apple have been working together for a long time, and Google has also paid Apple to be the main search engine on Apple products.

Apple itself is targeting a special developer-focused event in June 2025, where they are expected to share more about Apple Intelligence's artificial intelligence offerings, in addition to other features that will be present in iOS 19. Could we see Gemini's participation through it?
