In addition to the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series, the Huawei Watch 5 was also launched in Malaysia today with d=size 42mm and 46mm. This watch focuses on more advanced health tracking functions by being equipped with Huawei X-Tap sensors on the side. Other sensors that are also present are ECG, PPG, and pressure that can detect various health parameters with just one finger.
One of the main features of this watch is the Health Glance function, which allows users to conduct a health check in just 60 seconds. By touching a special sensor, you can obtain up to 10 different types of health parameter readings including heart rate, pressure, skin temperature, ECG and others.
In line with current trends, this watch also supports gesture control by bringing the index finger and thumb together twice to answer phone calls and take pictures from a distance. This feature is comparable to that supported by the Apple Watch and Galaxy Watch.
The Watch 5 comes with dual-battery mode support that offers two options. If you want to use the battery in a normal routine, you can use Standard Mode and Battery Saver Mode are also available. If this feature is activated, the 46mm model can be used for up to 11 days, while the 42mm model can last up to 7 days. To ensure longer battery life, some functions will be deactivated in this power-saving mode, but the health tracking feature will continue to work as usual.
Huawei Watch 5 now comes with Touch ’n Go Payment support, allowing users to make cashless payments using the watch.
